Author Biography

Catarina Patrício, Centro de Investigação em Comunicação Aplicada, Cultura e Novas Tecnologias, Universidade Lusófona, Lisbon, Portugal

Catarina Patrício has a PhD in Communication, Contemporary Culture and New Technologies from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of NOVA University Lisbon, with a post-doctoral specialisation. She is a visual artist with a degree in painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and a master’s degree in Anthropology from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of NOVA University Lisbon. Catarina Patrício has been a lecturer at the School of Communication, Architecture, Arts and Information Technologies, Universidade Lusófona, since 2010. A researcher at the Centre for Research in Applied Communication, Culture, and New Technologies (https://doi.org/10.54499/UIDB/05260/2020), she regularly publishes essays and exhibits artistic work.
