Envelhecimento do corpo: noções díspares nas mídias atuais

Abstract

The human being develops through stages which follow the cycle of life, the last of them is old age. Throughout human history aging was understood in different ways according to the society and time. Currently the media reinforce concepts and establish contradictory notions about old age. This article presents some limits on media arguments and proposals for understanding of this vital reality.
