From this perspective, we address in this paper that some psychoanalytic concepts can be applied to communication phenomena. To argue so, we analyze the covers of two magazines that are graphically similar, Men’s Health and G Magazine. The first orientate its content to the heterosexual public, and the later direct its content to the homosexual public.
